When creating an Event Registration or an Event Option, there is an Eligibility for this Registration section where you can select which members have access to book that 'ticket' to your event.
The following options are available.
- Open (Anyone can book)
- Selected Member Types (Can restrict to one or more member types) *
- Selected Members (Can restrict to one or more members)
- Non Members (This can restrict to everyone who isn’t a member. This includes any existing member records who have a member type that is recorded as not being a member and any new event attendees)
* When choosing Selected Member Types, an additional option becomes available, this is Allow bookers to confirm other membership's by membercode, when enabled the current registration type will be visible to everyone on the public booking form, including public bookers however if the booker is not someone with an eligible member type, they will need to provide details of the member they are booking for. These details are validated to ensure that the person is eligible for the registration type. An error is displayed if they are not and the booking cannot continue unless the details are corrected.
An option exists to set the details that must be provided, each field entered must match exactly to a person within the MemNet database and that person must be eligible for the registration. Details to be provided are:
- Member code Only
- Last Name and Member Code
- Firstname, Last Name and Member Code
