Within the member's profile, go to Manage Transactions and select the Create Manual Transaction tab.
Here you can create a Credit Note and automatically allocate it against an unpaid or outstanding invoice by selecting the Credit Note against Unpaid Invoices from the Transaction Type drop-down list. If you select this type it will:
- Automatically set the item lines for the credit note(s) equal and opposite to the amounts outstanding on the invoice(s)
- On update, will create the Credit Note(s) and Allocate it to the invoice(s).
- Give you the option to roll back the members subscription subscribed until date (if appropriate)
On selecting this type you will be presented with a list of all outstanding invoices on this member. You can select as many as you wish by ticking the checkbox against each invoice. As you select them the amounts outstanding will be reflected below as it builds up the generation of the credit note(s).

Click the Create Transaction button to complete the process.
