You can generate ticket numbers for event attendees. Ticket numbers can be merged into emails using the Attendee Ticket Number merge field.
Ticket numbers must be generated before they can be sent. To generate ticket numbers, within an Event, on the Bookings tab, click the Create Ticket Numbers button.
On the window that pops up, you can:
You must enter the first ticket number that you want to use. If required, this can include a prefix and suffix to be used on all generated ticket numbers. Following are some examples of sequences of ticket numbers based on the first number being provided:
- acb123xyz, acb124xyz, abc125xyz, abc126xyz.... (where abc becomes the prefix and xyz the suffix)
- T101, T102, T103, 104, T105... (T as the prefix, no suffix)
- 099D, 100D, 101D,102D... (no prefix, D is the suffix)
- 27,28,29,30,31.... (no prefix or suffix)
Note: This allows a different sequence of numbers per registration type, if needed
- Select the registration type for which you want to generate ticket numbers or choose all.
- Choose to overwrite any existing ticket numbers that have been previously generated. If left unchecked, only those attendees who have NOT previously had a ticket number generated will be assigned a ticket number.
Click Create to generate the ticket numbers.
Ticket numbers can be viewed by exporting the attendees from the top of the Bookings tab.
