This utilises the DNN site language settings.
Login to your DNN website or members portal as a site administrator.
If you have the black toolbar at the top of the page, Go To Admin / Languages (this may be in the second group of links). Your site should only have one language enabled, click the pencil icon under site (last column) for the language that is enabled (or the one you want to modify if multiple are enabled).
If you have the Persona Bar down the left-hand side, go to the bottom icon (look like a cog) and select Site Settings, then select Languages at the top of the site settings. Click the Translate icon next to the Language enabled for your site (or the language you want to modify). This is the last icon that looks like a little man and an uppercase A. On the language edit page, select Global Resources from the Global Resources group in the drop-down list.
On the language edit page search for Resource Name: EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PUBLIC_BODY.Text to edit the body of the email and Resource Name: EMAIL_USER_REGISTRATION_PUBLIC_SUBJECT.Text to edit the subject of the email. These are edited as plain text but can include HTML.
A separate email is used for password reset requests, these can be found by searching for MAIL_PASSWORD_REMINDER_BODY.Text and EMAIL_PASSWORD_REMINDER_SUBJECT.Text in the same resource file.
If including images in your HTML content then you will need to use the full URL to the image, including the site address and not relative URL's
System tags are included in the email to personalise each email.
To save, click the "Save Resource File" or "Save Translations to File" button depending on your version.
