There are many benefits to using an email link rather than an attachment file.
The biggest advantage of using a link over an attachment is that it significantly reduces the size of your email. When you are sending out large distributions it may take longer to deliver to your clients depending on the file size.
Using links also allows you to attach multiple documents which is something attachments cannot do.
With a link, you can overcome the 2mb attachment limit on your email and, if you have email analytics, can also analyse who opened which document.
To find out how to do this, select the editor you are using to create your email.
