Found under Administration / System Configuration / Type Administration, the Type Administration area allows you to set up the type categories for various lists within MemNet. You can create, delete and edit types for Members, Organisations and Events.
Select the type you want to modify from the Select Type to edit: dropdown list. The values can then be managed in the grid below.
The types that are available are:
- Contact Category: This is used to categorise contacts records. Select a category from the Select Category to edit: dropdown list to manage sub-categories for that contact category.
- CPD /Qualification: This is used to keep a record of the type of Continued Professional
Development recorded on a person. - Discount Codes: This is in limited use and will be expanded in the future. (Optional.)
- Event Group: The Event Group allows for the creation of Groups which are used
to categorise your events. - Event Type: The Event Type allows for the creation of Types which are used to further
categorise your events. - Invoice Group: Invoice Groups can be set by default against a Transaction Type.
They can also be entered against Transactions. If entered against Transactions
they are available in Account Document Generator to be able to sort and subtotal
invoices. (Optional.) - Member Alternate ID Types: Alternate Id's can be used to identify a membership by a value from another system. It is particularly useful to use when importing data
from a third party system. (Optional.) - Member Type: Manage your Member Types.
- Organisation Relationships: Manage the relationship types between organisations and people. (Optional.)
- Payment By: Allows you to manage the sequence of the Payment by drop-down list displayed on the Make Payments tab within members.
- Payment Reason Type: Allows you on the payment screen to record a reason for
a payment. - Person Role Type: Manage the roles that can be assigned to people. (Optional.)
- Stop Subscription Reason: Manage the reasons for stopping a Member
Subscription. - Subscription Group: Allows further classification of Subscriptions.
- Task Priority Types: The list of priorities that can be allocated to Tasks. These
affect the sequence that overdue tasks are displayed to the assigned user.
