Allow subscriptions to be charged to the full amount for only a period of the membership year

If your membership subscriptions are based on a yearly cycle, where all members renew on the same day; we have previously allowed a pro-rata amount to be calculated for members who join partway through the membership year, however after listening to feedback, some clients would like to charge a full flat fee even if a member joins partway through the membership year.

 In the example below the membership year starts on the 1st of July and the membership fee is $50.

Navigate to Administration > System Configuration > Subscriptions, select a subscription from the list and click Edit.

Change the configuration to the below, to have new member's subscribed until date set to the next 1st July; and to charge the full-fare ($50); and click update.

And then click update.

Now by default members will be charged the full amount for the subscription, but subscribed until dates will only be moved to the next period date.
