This is a reasonably common question.
You cannot make an event available online (for online bookings) until a confirmation email is set up for the event - this is needed to confirm the booking when someone books online.
The confirmation email is set up on a separate tab (the confirmation email tab!) that can not be accessed until the event is created.
The trick is to:
- Create the event without ticking the available online checkbox.
- Create the confirmation email.
- Edit the event details to make the event available online, or you can do this from the list of events by clicking on the action menu at the end of the row. Note the event status must also be Open for bookings to be accepted.
When copying existing events, the confirmation email is copied also, however, the event is not automatically available online as you will most likely need to modify the details of the copied event before making the event available online.
