What are Person Organisation Relationships?

Person Organisations can be used to record a Person’s relationship with another Entity. We use the word Entity here as Organisations can be used for many things such as:

• Employers
• Items that are owned (Vehicles, Aircraft etc.)
• Clubs etc.

The main features related to Organisations are that they:

• Can have custom fields so they can be configured depending on the Entity you wish to use Organisations for
• You can define the relationship the person has with the Organisation (e.g. ‘Employee, Owner, Member etc.)
• You can record a reference alongside the relationship
• You can enquire online for people linked to an Organisation
• You can select and report by Organisation.
