This page can be found under Mail Generation and allows you to manage email address suppression lists created by emails sent from MemNet.
Want to know why we need this page? See Why are previously bounced email addresses not receiving emails from MemNet?
The search functionality on this page allows you to search the various types of suppression lists. Hint: Expand the section ot the top of the page for a description of each list. You can search for a specific email address - useful if you have used Checking if a member's email address is on a suppression list, otherwise all results are returned.
The displayed results include:
- When the suppression event happened
- The email address
- The reason for the bounce or suppression
- The SMTP status returned
Two actions can be taken for each result:
- Search MemNet for people with that email address.
- Remove the email address from the suppression list.
Only email addresses that are known to be valid should be removed from suppression lists. Supression lsts are maintianed to ensure the most likely delivery of emails to the intended recipient. See Why are previously bounced email addresses not receiving emails from MemNet?
