How do I enable Auto Update of Unfinancial / Inactive Status based on Subscriptions?

MemNet can automatically update a member's Financial/Unfinancial and Active/Inactive status based on the subscribed until date of their subscription. If the member has multiple subscriptions this process will use the earliest subscribed until date on all of the member's active subscriptions.

Setting this up is a two step process

1 - You need to select the checkbox Enable Unpaid Subscription Triggers which is located under Administration / System Configuration / Company Settings.

2 - For the updates to take effect, the number of days after which the update is effected needs to be recorded against each subscription code.
To set these visit Administration / System Configuration / Subscriptions and edit the individual subscription records, you will see 2 new fields Set a Member to Unfinancial and Set a Member to Inactive.
Once these are filled in the updates will happen automatically overnight.

Note:

• This function works with both Renewal Invitations and Invoices, even if you have created an Invoice and rolled forward the dates on the Subscription record as we also take into account whether that invoice has been paid or not.
