An event is an activity that multiple people can attend, it can be any gathering ranging from a multi-day Conference with chargeable registration options and table plans, training workshops where you wish to record a result to Board meetings where you wish to invite a small group and record their attendance.
From within the Events module, you will be able to:
- Create an event including the registration options or copy an existing event.
- Search and edit existing events
- Filter valid Bookers to registrations including Member and Public pricing (see How do I target my Event to only particular members or guests?)
- Send personalised event invite links (see How to setup an Event Invite)
- Make bookings on behalf of Bookers or import attendees for CSV
- Generate charges automatically and allow bookers to Pay Now, Pay later (on invoice) or pay a deposit amount.
- Send an automated Booking confirmation email
- Manage seating/table plans It is possible to rename tables and allow attendees to create their own.
- Record attendance and generate certificates if necessary
- Automatically generate CPD/CPE records if appropriate
- Generate and schedule email communications.
Event reports are also available from the Reports tab. You have access to CSV Extracts, Standard Reports and all of the Events data through the custom Report Generator ReportMaster.
The Events module also integrates with Member Self Service providing online self-service booking facilities for both Members and Visitors in addition to allowing Members to review their past bookings (for more information on these facilities refer to the Member Self-Service and Website Integration section).
To launch the Events functionality, click on the Events menu on the toolbar. This will display the Events List screen which allows you to Search for an existing event or create a New Event.
